India arranged for the Day-Night Test in Ahmedabad with an instructional meeting under lights on Monday.
India are preparing for the third Test against England at the Motera arena in Ahmedabad, which starts on Wednesday. On Monday, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) took to online media to share pictures from the group's instructional course under the lights in front of the pivotal Day-Night game. "#TeamIndia practice under lights as they gear up for the pink-ball Test at the Cricket Stadium at Motera," the Indian cricket board subtitled the post. Commander Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma and wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant can be seen batting in the nets in the photos, while pacer Mohammed Siraj is likewise spotted bowling.
England took the lead in the series in the first match at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai, before India won the second game - also held at the same venue.
The Day-Night Test at the Motera will also be the first international match to be held at the stadium after it was renovated to make it the largest cricket stadium in the world.
